I sooo can't wait for spring and all the sweet wonderful things it brings... like sunshine and fresh strawberries and flowers everywhere. Ooooh, and of course pastels! I hope pastel is going to be huge this year, it's my favorite color scheme and I'd love to see more of it in the shops.

I like this outfit, I really do, but what keeps me from completely falling in love with it is the back of the top. It's plain, there's no lace like on the front... I would have liked it a bit better had it been lace all around. Still, I think it's a lovely top and nice quality. I got it on sale, just like everything else I'm wearing in these pictures. Yay!

The color scheme of this outfit is pretty close to my post from last week, but I still think it's different enough to warrant it's own post. The coat is from New Look, I just got it today and the color is a tiny bit more pink in real life. The fabric has a nice sheen to it, and I think I'll get quite some wear out of this piece.

When I got these shoes months ago, I could barely stand in them. Today when I put them on, it felt like I wasn't wearing any heels at all - I've been walking around in 5''+ platforms for a couple of days now, so these 3.5'' heels weren't much of a challenge.
Give me two weeks in flats though and I'll be back to square one.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the coat came with a different color ribbon in the back... I couldn't find it today so I replaced it with a black satin one. I think it goes well with the rest of the outfit:

Most. Uncomfortable. Shoes. I. Own. I have a pair that's 6 inch high and they don't give me half as much pain as these. I have no idea why I was so into this brand when I was 15... I don't own a pair of shoes from Buffalo that doesn't hurt my feet. I also nearly landed on my behind twice today.

Still, my coat made up for it by being so amazing. Isn't the color awesome? I love that the sleeves are a bit shorter and the gold details are so lovely against that shade of orange. The quality is lovely, too.

I absolutely love pastels and neutrals, but when I saw this beautiful red coat I couldn't resist. All my other outerwear is either cream or candy colored (with one exception) so I could justify the purchase with "building a more versatile wardrobe". I also got it on sale if I remember correctly, just like the bag and collar... makes me like this outfit even more!

I'm kind of getting a ~retro vibe from this ensemble, maybe it's the fur collar (faux, of course!). Retro is dangerously close to Rockabilly, and Rockabilly uuuh, not my thing, so I steered well clear of anything red and put on some platform sandals that kinda matched the lace shirt underneath the cardigan. They have zippers in the back and are really comfortable, despite the 4''+ heel.

The skirt is quite heavy and not something I would wear when it's hot outside. I got it for less than 5 Euro at a thriftstore and it's such great quality... makes me want to go thrifting again.
